A unique one-time recording of renowned jazz players, including Israeli guitarist Menachem Zibziner and drummer Doron Raphaeli with London-based saxophonist Gilad Atzmon and bassist Yaron Stavi.

After few mind-blowing gigs we had together, we decided to ‘capture the spirit’ in studio recordings. It was a 10 hours single recording session. Bare footed and without any headsets, we just played....

Most of the tunes were recorded at first take including for example "The Night Before", an original piece written a night before the session and was never played by the group. Following the recording of the first tune, we all decided to continue recording live-to-DAT without any mix session.

Sveta, the recording engineer, demonstrated a rare talent capturing the true spirit and sound of what was happened in that room. I consider myself lucky to be a part of these captured moments.
